Together Gaming Solutions has announced that the purchase of Bethard Group by Esports Entertainment Group has been completed.

Further to the company’s announcement on 25th May, Together Gaming will now focus on its B2B business, as was decided in recent strategic decisions.

It will continue to provide full white label services to third-party branded casino/sportsbook websites, as well as standalone licensing of its proprietary iGaming platform to licensed third-party B2C operators.

Additionally, it will retain its B2C licences solely for the purposes of supporting its B2B business and white label clients.

When the acquisition was first announced, it was said to be costing Esports Entertainment approximately $27 million (€22.1 million). The Group was due to pay €16 million upfront, plus an earn-out based on 12 per cent of Bethard’s net gaming revenue for each of the next two years.

The deal sees Bethard added to Esport Entertainment’s other European sportsbook portfolio, alongside SportNation.com and Vie.bet.

Speaking in May, Grant Johnson, CEO of EEG said that “this is another great addition for Esports Entertainment Group that substantially increases our revenues, and available markets.”

“With this transaction, we expect to gain two new gaming licenses including one in the strategically important Swedish market. At the completion of the license hand over, we will have six tier-one licenses.”
