Damian Xuereb

Damian Xuereb, the former Vice President of Global Sales at Malta-based sports-betting giant Kambi, has introduced a new iGaming platform targeting the US and Canadian markets – Strive Gaming.

Strive Gaming is “the first iGaming platform business specifically set up to satisfy the modern, multi-state requirements of North American operators”, he announced on social media.

Mr Xuereb will run the company as President and CCO, and will be joined by another Kambi alumni in the form of Max Meltzer who will take over as Strive CEO later on in the year.

Mr Xuereb brings to his new venture a breadth of experience in roles including New Business Development Manager at Kone, Business Manager London at ISS Integrated Facility Services, and Senior Manager of New Business Development at United Technologies.

Before taking up his Kambi role, he worked as Enterprise Sales Director at SmartFocus.

“Strive is bringing to market a leading technology Player Account Management, with a unique value driver in our infinity rules engine”, added Mr Xuereb.

“Strive arrives into the market without technology debt, 100 per cent focus on the NA market and a dedicated team and operation that is ready for the market and [its] first partners”.
