Yggdrasil, the leading publisher of online gambling content, has cemented its position as a leading supplier to the iGaming industry after winning the Slot Provider of the Year category at the prestigious International Gaming Awards (IGAs).

It is the fifth consecutive year that Yggdrasil has claimed a prize at the IGAs which recognises excellence in the industry. The Slot Provider of the Year category honours the supplier that has shown innovation and introduced a range of exciting games that has engaged customers in the last year.

The win is a testament to the work Yggdrasil has undertaken in the last 12 months to significantly enhance its diverse slots portfolio, the company says. The offering has been boosted by content featuring the supplier’s five proprietary Games Engagement Mechanics (GEMs) as well as titles from the successful YG Masters program.

The five GEMs – Splitz™, MulitMAX™, Gigablox™, DoubleMax™ and GigaRise have been a huge success and featured in some of Yggdrasil’s most popular titles. The provider continues to release ground-breaking titles with fresh mechanics, features and themes across its products range for fans from all over the world to enjoy.

Over the last 12 months, its YG Masters initiative has also seen the addition of over 20 titles from the program’s innovative studio partners.

Fredrik Elmqvist, CEO, Yggdrasil, said: We are very proud to win this accolade as we have been working hard and very focused over the last 12 months to improve our offering and cement or position as one of the industry’s leading slot suppliers. I want to thank the whole team at Yggdrasil who have all contributed to this achievement and worked so hard during such a challenging time.

“We continue to drive innovation throughout the industry with both our games and our unique proprietary mechanics and features which have been extremely well received by our fans across the globe.”
